Refreshing approach to human environment interaction

One of the pleasures of retirement is having the time to read quite a variety of articles. This is one that I found notable.

  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/environment/5208645/Drowning-in-plastic-The-Great-Pacific-Garbage-Patch-is-twice-the-size-of-France.html

Here is an example of human activities affecting the environment. But this article identifies a rather large problem, not yet catastrophic, that needs to be brought to all of our's attention. There is no proposal to suddenly ban plastic, instead use our ingenuity to come up with an alternative way to deal with the problem. I am more likely to adjust my consuming habits through education than by being brow beaten by the alarmist's that I have to give up a lifestyle that I enjoy to achieve some obscure goal.

Adam Lambert

For unusual reasons I happened to see the most unusual performance of Adam Lambert singing Mad World on American Idol 8 Top 8. Wow
